Steve has been strumming through life since 1954, one guitar riff at a time. He got his first guitar when he was eight years old (possibly from earnings he made helping his dad deliver milk in the wee hours of the morning). At the height of his collection, he had 28 guitars that he hung on slot wall in his music room (and he may or may not have carried around a "brag" book of professional photographs of his collection.)
His favorite was his Gibson Les Paul 25/50 Custom Anniversary. He dreams of someday acquiring a Peter Frampton "Phenix" Inspired Les Paul Custom, which marries his favorite guitarist with his favorite guitar manufacturer.
Hilariously, his favorite song is "I Don't Need No Doctor" by the Humble Pie. The first song he learned to play was "The Last Time" by the Stones. He is ultimately a huge Classic Rock enthusiast, and since he was around to hear today's "Classic Rock" when it was first released, that makes him a classic as well.
Please join us in celebrating our Guitar Hero, Steve, as he turns 70 on his actual 70th birthday, Sunday, January 7th, 2024.

Built in 1869 by brothers Hugh, Noah, and James Gray, the historic Gray's Opera House hosted traveling plays; notable speakers such as Senator Zachariah Chandler, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Grant’s Vice President Schuyler Colfax; and area high school commencements and proms.
The Masonic Temple Association purchased it in 1919.
The building has survived five fires, the last occurring in 1940, requiring extensive restoration.
This location spans across three addresses. You’ll enter through the 231 North Main Street address, and we’ll have food, drinks, and fun on the main levels in 231 and 229.
